Brainwave basics
Beta (13–40 Hz): alert, everyday thinking

Quick science note (plain English)
Your brain responds to rhythmic input (sound/light). When presented at steady frequencies, it can “sync up” and shift into alpha/theta—states linked to calm, creativity, and receptivity. In that window, targeted hypnotic suggestions help your unconscious mind adopt new patterns.

1) Book your consultation
We’ll review your goals, health history, and how hypnosis works. This take approximately 45 minutes - 1 hour in length. Then I’ll design your session plan and we’ll schedule your first hypnotherapy appointment for another date/time. If you’re from out of town, please schedule your consultation online.

2) Your hypnotherapy session
You’ll relax in a comfortable chair. Soft entrainment audio plays, and you’ll wear light-pulse glasses with eyes closed the entire time. I’ll guide you through targeted hypnosis to install the changes you want.
Session: $375 + HST (20% off in September with code HYPNO25)
Two appointments are required for first-time clients: consultation + session (at least 24 hours apart).

Yes. Hypnotherapy and brainwave entrainment are highly effective for both smoking and vaping. The process helps your brain let go of the unconscious triggers and mental loops keeping the habit in place—whether it’s a vape pen or a cigarette.

No — during the actual hypnotherapy portion of the session, you'll be in a relaxed, focused state and won’t need to speak. However, I may use ideomotor signals (gentle physical cues) to communicate with your unconscious mind. For example, I might ask you to make a fist, lift a finger, or use subtle hand movements to indicate a “yes” or “no” response. This allows us to get powerful insights and reinforce suggestions—without breaking your relaxed state.
Before and after the session, we’ll always take time to talk, answer questions, and debrief anything that comes up.

That’s a common fear — but the truth is, almost everyone can be guided into a relaxed, focused state where we work with the unconscious mind. You’re not giving up control or going into some strange trance. In fact, most people describe it as a deeply calm, inward-focused state—similar to meditation or daydreaming.
